The JBL Control 442C/T is a compact ceiling loudspeaker from the flagship Control 400 Premium Coverage Series. It features a 2.5-inch full-range driver with an integrated enclosure, making it ideal for installation in most ceiling plenum spaces.
Designed for modern commercial and professional interiors, the Control 442C/T comes with a full-face magnetic grille that blends seamlessly into any décor. The grille is easily paintable, while optional black round and white square grilles offer additional customization.
The speaker includes thoughtfully engineered installation features for safety, efficiency, and repeatability. Its terminal cover allows convenient top or side cable entry and is secured with captive hand-screws. The reliable captive dogear mounting system supports a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The Control 442C/T also supports both 70V/100V and low impedance applications with a 16-ohm direct input.
