The JBL 5742 Four-Way High-Power ScreenArray® Cinema Loudspeaker System is designed for large-format and 3D cinemas that demand powerful, accurate, and immersive sound reproduction. It provides wide dynamic range, extended bandwidth, consistent coverage across the auditorium, and extremely low distortion for a premium cinema experience.
The JBL 5742 features a high-performance four-way ScreenArray® design with a 1600-watt low-frequency section, a 1400-watt mid-frequency section, and a large-format 4-inch neodymium high-frequency compression driver with a damped titanium diaphragm.
Featuring molded Optimized Aperture Waveguide Technology, JBL patented SSC™ Screen Spreading Compensation, and Focused Coverage Technology, the system delivers an extremely uniform frequency response and controlled sound distribution. Its flat-front waveguide and shallow 24-inch depth make it suitable for baffle-wall installation while reducing behind-screen space requirements.
